Our assembly instructions guide you step-by-step through the installation process of our unique frame systems. From the precise fitting of the corner connector to the final adjustment of the door leaf, we offer detailed instructions that ensure your components are installed perfectly. With simi-lar, you are choosing a solution that combines elegance with exceptional engineering.
The corner connector is inserted into the predefined groove of the aluminum profile and snaps into place in the hole on the back of the profiles by means of a push button.
Now, the corner connector is tightened on both sides using a 5 mm Allen key.
Both corner connectors hold the frame together, create a 90° angle and determine the frame rebate dimension.
The wooden mounting aid snaps into the profile geometry and is screwed into the two upright frame profiles. This ensures a consistent frame rebate dimension. Three mounting aids are used for ceiling-height elements.
The frame is placed in the rough opening - an installation clearance of 5 mm per side is optimal.
The frame is now professionally aligned using pressure-resistant shims, taking into account the reference line and the frame rebate dimensions. It is important to ensure that the front edge of the frame is flush with the finished wall - in both solid and drywall construction.
The hardware is screwed into place at the 3 x 3 fixing points on each side, using appropriate mounting hardware for either solid or drywall construction. Additional support is provided by the further fixing points behind the hinges and the strike plate.
The hinges and the strike plate are securely screwed into the frame using M5 threaded screws, providing maximum support for the door leaf in the frame.
The door leaf is hung.
The 3-dimensional hinges adjust the door leaf according to the surrounding 3.5 mm gap. The adjustable strike plate provides an additional adjustment option for the interaction between the door leaf and frame.
The flush-mounted simi-lar door is installed.
